Most of you know me through massage and yoga. Do you know i am also a postpartum doula? Much like a birth doula offers support during birth, postpartum doula offers support to parents and new families postpartum supports, such as taking care of the baby so moms can take a break or have a nap or finish your phd 🧑🎓, offers soothing suggestions if babies have any discomforts, prepare and/or cook meals, etc. Taking care of moms and babies are definitely one of my passions. From teaching yoga (fertility, prenatal & postnatal), giving massages (fertility, prenatal & postnatal), offering Natural Birthing Workshop for Expecting Couples, giving Baby Massage Course (with specialization in acupressure & reflexology for 0-2) to being a Postpartum Doula, all in the hope of giving you moms and babies out there my years of experience from working with other moms and babies. There are nothing life won’t teach us, if we are willing and patient enough to receive those messages.
The global pandemic have been extremely hard for new families, but especially moms and babies. As for all humans and mammals, we need social interactions, touch, kisses and hugs. These actions stimulate the brain and varies organs to produce oxytocin, dopamine, serotonin (love, happy, relax hormones) to reduce the cortisol (long-term stress hormone) that stressing the body and mind. Socializing is much more than hanging out, as is also much needed, but more importantly, to literally ‘talk your heart out’, as speech or our tongue has a direct energetic relationship with our heart energy, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). How much i miss you and the babies!!
